Our History

Göktekin Dış Ticaret, the flagship of the family, despite with which Göktekin Enerji has no connection on capital or commercial basis, started to operate in 1979 to deal with the trading of white goods and small household appliances to home and abroad it got produced under the trademark of GOSONIC. The company, which started to export from 1988, ceased its domestic operations, and, focusing entirely on export, it became one of the most reliable brands in the Middle East market. With the export volume reaching $100 M a year, the company, with its product diversity and wide vendor and service network, became a leading brand in the said markets.

Abdullah Gültekin, the founder of our Company, after he graduated from two universities on International Trading and Business Managements, developed his own business for a while in the United States, and went to Erbil as the Country Manager of GOSONIC Iraq in 2014.  Abdullah Göktekin carried on this task for 1,5 years, then, with the foundation of Göktekin Energy in 2015, he quitted his post in Göktekin Dış Ticaret company.
